JOB TITLE: JUNIOR TECHNICAL OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE

 

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Forming part of the Operations team in London and handling all operational aspects of the business, from the front-end client platforms, back office, technology providers, client portal and prime brokers

 

MAIN TASKS OF THE JOB:

  • Daily cash, trade and position reconciliations.
  • Creation of client accounts, credentials and groups on the trading platforms in addition to configuring new settings for certain client and regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting and updating of dividends and swap points within the back office and website; keeping management informed by reviewing and analysing special reports; summarising information; identifying trends.
  • Liaising with technology vendors, liquidity providers and prime brokers to accommodate the business.
  • Processing client queries.
  • UAT testing on the client platform for technology upgrades.
  • Completing operational requirements in accordance with procedures.
  • Contributing to and leading the team effort; liaising with all office personnel and external customers/clients.
  • Very occasional weekend work required for platform restarts or client account/group changes.
